04/08/2021 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-13(b) ACCUMULATION OF REFUSE PROHIBITED. Each owner, lessee, tenant, resident or occupant shall maintain a property so it is free of accumulated refuse and debris. Accumulated refuse and debris means contained or uncontained refuse and debris that is present on the property in a manner not authorized by the Tucson Code. Material recycling facilities meeting the requirements of section 15-24.7 are exempt from this prohibition.
04/08/2021 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-13(d) DUTY TO REMOVE WEEDS AND REFUSE FROM ABUTTING SIDEWALKS, STREETS AND ALLEYS UPON NOTICE. Upon receipt of notice served pursuant to section 16-45, the owner, lessee, tenant or occupant of any premises shall remove from the premises and the abutting portions of contiguous sidewalks, streets and alleys, all weeds, garbage, debris or other refuse which may endanger the health, safety or welfare of the persons in the vicinity of such premises. This duty extends to and includes any abutting sidewalk area and one-half (½) the width of abutting alleys, from the property line to the center line of the alley.

04/07/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The property owner has placed some trash and debris in the front of the property for the Brush and Bulky pick up. There was some of the trash and debris picked up and had more than the 10 cu.yd. allowed. They did leave a pile and some has construction debris which is not picked up. Did call the supervisor Solano and they did pick up some the pile and left what was over the amount allowed. Did call the owner and went over on what happened. Did give the phone number to call to make arrangements to have the other portion picked up or see what can be done. Did let the owner know that a N.O.V. will be sent due to needs to be removed as soon as possible. RV.
05/14/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The trash and debris was picked up by the Brush and bulky crew and the property is cleaned. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
