05/18/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, COMPLAINT FORM WAS FOR A FENCE OVER 6FT TALL BEING INSTALLED IN A HISTORIC DISTRICT. MY INSPECTION AND RESEARCH FOUND THAT THE FENCE IS 6FT IN HEIGHT WITHIN CODE , THE 6 FT IS CONSTRUCTED ON A 8 INCH CURB, CURB WAS ORIGINALLY BUILT UP WITH THE SAME LEVEL AS THE FRONT YARD. SOME TIME BETWEEN 2008 AND 2013 A 4FT SIMPLE WROUGHT IRON FENCE WAS BUILT ON TOP OF THE SAME CURB. THE EXISTING 6FT FENCE REPLACED THE OLD 4FT WROUGHT IRON FENCE, LIKE FOR LIKE WROUGHT IRON FOR WROUGHT IRON AND THE NEW WROUGHT IRON FENCE IS MUCH MORE ATTRACTIVE AND SUITS THE HISTORIC HOME EVEN BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL FENCE BECAUSE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL FEATURES PUT INTO THE NEW FENCE. C/E FOUND NO VIOLATIONS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
