02/22/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into a house. Arrived and the units were on site and the vehicle that hit the house has left the site. The vehicle hit the N.W. corner of the garage and pushed the walls off the foundation approx. 8". The wood frame trimmers and double king studs have all been knocked off the foundation that was supporting the wood beam for the garage door opening. The shearing has been broken and a hold down has been pulled out of the foundation where the concrete has been broken. The garage door has been damaged and removed to remove a truck out of the garage before it was secured. The house has not been damaged and the owner will remain in the house. No electrical has been damaged and all is working at this time. The owner signed the paperwork and was not able to secure the area and gave permission to call the City of Tucson contractor to secure the opening. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to sedure the opening and the wood beam. The roof is wood trusses and still tied to the top plates. The walls have 1" foam with a one coat system. The owner has called the insurance company and will be sending someone to check the damage. RV.
02/23/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The area is secured and the owner is working with the insurance company and will be getting a contractor to make the repairs. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
