| 02/20/2021 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Had a stove fire in unit 1208 above this unit and the sprinkler head went off and flooded the unit. The water was coming down the ceiling in several areas. Holes were made to try and catch in a trash can but was to much. The floor had approx. 1" of water through out the unit. The water was being removed by a company extracting the water when leaving the site. The electrical meter is being removed due to the amout the damage on the ceiling. Will need a permit for the reconnect on the electrical once the work is completed. The maintenance supervisor was on site and he signed the paperwork. Did go over on the amount of square footage for the permit to be required for the drywall. The tenant was in Mexico but some family members came to the site to check the unit. They were not let in the unit due to the ceilings were dripping water and was not sure if the drywall was going to fall. The unit will be check after 12:00 PM and the tenants family members will check on getting the food out of the frigerator. The supervisor will be called tomorrow when to meet at the site to go into the unit if able to. The maintenance was advised to check the unit for dropped ceilings before anyone goes inside the unit.
