The unit is on the bottom floor and appears that the upper floor is being used and the drainage line is backed up and filling up and overflowing into the bottom unit. Did talk to the manager and the maintenance is buying a toilet and will be replaced by 5:00 PM today. I did ask the manager if they have a vacant unit to stay in and they do have a unit on the property. They will call at 5:00 PM if working or not working. The tenantt is stating that they have had Roto Rooter on site and the line needs to be worked and will cost approx. $1,000.00 or more to make the needed repairs. Did check one of the neighbors unit and the plumbing is working at this time. Did serve the tenant the paperwork to vacate the unit incase the work being done doesn't work. The manager than will place the tenant in another unit at that time. Left a card with the tenant to call at 5:00 to give the status. RV. |
