02/01/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved PRIOR TO VISITNG THE PROPERTY I CHECKED TUCSON MAPS AND FOUND THAT THE OWNERS PROPERTY LINE ACTUALLY EXTENDS INTO THE STREET RIGHT AT THE CORNER AND THE PRESENT STREET PERHAPS INCORRECTLY PAVED. OWNER CORRALES IS A SURVEYOR WHICH MAKES NO DIFFERENCE, BUT THE PRESENT FENCE IS SEVERAL FEET INSIDE THE PROPERTY LINE AT THE CORNER. THE SIGHT VISIBILTY HAS BEEN A ISSUE FOR MANY YEARS AND ADDS TO THE FLOODING PROBLEM AT THE CORNER AS WELL. OWNERS HAVE ALSO TRIED TO ATTACK THIS ISSUE STATING THE ELECTRICAL POLE IS INSIDE THE FENCE AND CANNOT BE ACCESSED BUT AGAIN THE POLE IS UP AGAINST THE FENCE AND TEP WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM WORKING ON THE ELECTRIC FROM THE STREET IF NEEDED. I AM SURE THE HOMEOWNERS THAT DRIVE THE AREA ARE UPSET WITH THE FLOODING AND SIGHT VISIBILITY, BUT CORRECTIONS NEED TO BE MADE BY CITY STREETS AND TRANSPORTATION. THE FENCE IN QUESTION IS 6 FT IN HEIGHT WITHIN THE CITY CODE AND BUILT ON HIS PROPERTY, SO THERE ARE NO VIOLATIONS AT THIS TIME. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
