I WALKED TO THE OFFICE, MET WITH THE MANAGER STATED THAT THE APTS ARE SECTION 8 HOUSING THAT PIPES BROKE,LEAK IN THE UNIT WAS UNDER THE CONCRETE FLOORING. THE OCCUPANT HAS BEEN HOUSED AT RED ROOF INN, WAS GIVEN THE OPTION OF BREAKING HER LEASE OR BEING HOUSED. SHE DECIDED TO BE HOUSED. A FAILED INSPECTION REPORT WAS ISSUED BY COMMUNITY HOUSING DEPT. ON 1/04/2021 AND A REINSPECTION IS SCHEDULED FOR 2/01/21. MANAGER STATED THE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE AND CONCRETE REPOURED IN THE UNIT. CARPET IS NEW SO IT WAS PULLED BACK AND THE PADDING IS TO BE REPLACED. CABINETS ARE WAITING TO BE INSTALLED. SO IT DOES APPEAR THAT HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPT HAS HANDLED ALL ISSUES AT THIS TIME. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
