01/03/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. was on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and was still an active fire. The fire was in the middle of the house where a fire place had a stack covered and not going through the roof. The tenants used the fire place and the stack burned the rafters and the sheathing including the studs around the fire place. The house has heavy smoke damage. Did have a hole in the roof where the fire place was located. There was no metal stack above the roof line during the fire. No able to make contact with the owner and will be securing the house once the tenants have moved their items out to take with them. The tenants signed the paperwork due to not able to locate a property manager or the owner. The electrical and the gas was removed due to the fire damage. The tenants were going to stay with some friends and Redcross will not be coming. The openings were secure with plywood and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the property. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and the tenant kept the paperwork to give to the owner. RV.
09/08/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The permit has been issued, T21CM02996 issued on 4-12-21 and finaled on 7-20-21. All the work has been done and the owner will be renting out the house again. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
