01/03/2021 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with family living in shed and hazardous electrical. Arrived and the units were still on site. The son was living in the wood frame storage room and was lacking water, plumbing, heating and cooling and electrical. Did have electrical to the storage room with extension cords and romex connected to an outlet by the washer machine. The romex was through a hole made in the corrigated iron for the roof to cover the washer and dryer at the rear of the house. The owner living in the house advised that an outlet has already burned and found where the wiring was burning due to was stranded wiring and had melted coating for the wiring and burned wire stands to the outlet. The owner was not able to find an electrician and the wiring was removed while on site. The son was advised by T.P.D. that will not be able to stay in the storage room and will need to leave the property due to the mother does not want the son on the property. The son is listed as one of the owners of the property and has issues with the mother staying on the property. Found no records of a permit for the storage room built on the property and has setback issues and not sure it will be approved. The mother is going to have the storage room removed. The son was released by T.P.D. and gathered his items to leave the site. The mother signed the paperwork and did a posting of Do Not Enter on the storage room and let the son know he needs approval from the mother to get back into the storage room to get his items out from the storage room. Vehicles were removed that the son had possession of to another property while on site.
06/24/2021 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved On site and all the work has been removed. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
