12/23/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared and the Captain was still on site. He showed the area damaged with the fire. The electrical meter was blanked due to the damage of the fire. The fire was in the garage area where the heating and cooling unit was located. The wiring at the disconnect for the heating and cooling unit appears to be where the fire started and damaged other wiring in the area. Some burning to the wood framing studs and the drywall near the wiring that burned. The main structure for the house was not damaged and was containted to the room for the heating and cooling unit. Did make a hole in the drywall going into a bedroom for the house in a closet area by the fire and checking for fire extension. The owner will not be able to remain in the house and placed a Do Not Enter on the front window. The owner signed the paperwork on site and has a place to stay. The owner was able to lock the house once done with checking the damage. A vehicle was place in the garage for storage and locked from the inside due to lacking the electical. RV.
12/23/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GONZALEZ Approved ON SITE WITH INSPECTOR VIDAL, CONDUCTORS THAT ENERGIZE THE HVAC SYSTEM AND A LIGHT FIXTURE HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY THE FIRE. THE GARAGE'S WOOD PANELING AND THE ABUTTING BEDROOM'S DRY WALL HAS OPEN PENETRATIONS. POWER HAS BEEN TERMINATED BY TUCSON ELECTRIC POWER UNTIL A PERMIT IS OBTAIN FOR THE REPAIRS THAT NEEDS TO BE MADE. PROPERTY HAS BEEN POSTED UNFIT TO OCCUPIED, PROPERTY OWNER SIGNED DOCUMENTATION AND IS AWARE TO KEEP PROPERTY VACANT AND SECURED.
12/30/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured and will be closing the case at this time. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
