THE OCCUPANT PUT THE PAN IN THE SINK THAT EMMITTED HOT STEAM AND ACTIVATED THE FIRE SPRINKLER ABOVE THE SINK. THE SPRINKLER FLOODED THE UNIT. WATER DRIPPED DOWN INTO UNIT 112 AND 113, WATER IN II3 WAS MINIMAL. TFD TURNED OFF THE WATER AND ALARM SYSTEMS AND ISSUED A NOTICE FOR FIRE WATCH UNITL THE SYSTEM WAS REACTIVATED. UPON MY ARRIVAL THE MANAGER HAD ALREADY CONTACTED UNITED FIRE TO REPLACE THE SPRINKLER HEAD AND REACTIVATE THE ALARM SYSTEM. MANAGER STATED THE PERSON IN UNIT 210 WAS SEEN WALKING AWAY FROM THE APT COMPLEX AND HAS NOT YET BEN FOUND YET. TFD REMOVED THE TOILET AND MOVED AS MUCH WATER OUT OF THE UNIT AS THEY COULD. MANAGER HAD CONTACTED STEAMY CONCEPTS TO REMOVE THE WATER AND THEY WERE IN ROUTE. WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY STARTED REMOVING THE REMAINING WATER IN UNIT 210. IN UNIT 112 THE MANAGER HAD HELPED MOVE FURNITURE AWAY FROM WATER AND OCCUPANT WAS PLACED WITH HER MOTHER WHO ALSO LIVES IN THE COMPLEX. MANGER REMOVED LIGHT COVERING FROM 2 LIGHTSTO ALLOW ANY WATER TO DRIP OUT. OCCUPANT IN 112 WAS ALLOWED TO STAY AS WATER SEEPED UNDER THE BOTTOM FLOOR PLATE BUT WASTER WAS MINIMAL FURNITURE WAS MOVED AWAY FROM THE WALL. MAINTANENCE DID A GOOD JOB OF CONTACTING UNITED FIRE RIGHT AWAY TO REACTIVATE ALARM AND WATER SYSTEM. STEAMY CONCEPTS ARRIVED WHILE ON SITE AND BEGAN RETRACTING WATER IN UNIT 210. MANGER CONTACTED SECURITY TO HELP WITH THE FIRE WATCH. AND OCCUPANT IN 112 WAS PLACED WITH MOTHER IN SAME COMPLEX. MAINTANENCE HELPED MOVE AND STACK FURNITURE SO IT WAS OUT OF WATER AREAS. FIRE ISSUED NOTICE FOR A FIRE WATCH. CODE ENFORCEMENT ISSUED NOV TO MAKE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS, MOSTLY PAIN EPAIRS AND POSSIBLE DRYWALL RPAIRS. MAINTANENCE HAD A MASTER KEY TO SECURE ALL UNITS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
