11/17/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, THE OLO HOTEL, RECENTLY HAD EXTERIOR WINDOWS CHANGED OUT, WALLS RAILINGS AND DOORS PAINTED, SO BASICALLY THE ENTIRE EXTERIOR REPAINTED. SO THE EXTERIOR WALLS WERE NOT IN DISREPAIR. AS I WALKED THE 3 STORY BUILDING I FOUND THAT MANY OF THE ROOMS, THERE ARE 104 ROOMS IN THE HOTEL HAD BEEN REMODELED AND ROOMS READY FOR USE HOWEVER AS I WALKED THE 3RD STORY AND MOST OF THE 2ND STORY I FOUND THE CENTER WALL THAT DEVIDES THE EAST SIDE FROM THE WEST HAD ALL DRYWALL REMOVED. IT EXPOSED THE PLUMBING BETWEEN THE BATHROOM UNITS. RESEARCH FOUND A PERMIT, T20CM06699 HAD BEEN SECURED TO REPLACE THE GAS LINE AND REPAIR ALL ABS PLUMBING ABOVE GROUND . THE PLUMBING WALL WOULD NEED TO BE EXPOSED TO REPLACE ALL ABS PIPING ABOVE GROUND, AND I TAKE THAT AS ANY ABS PLUMBING ABOVE THE FIRST FLOOR CONCRETE AND IT APPEARS THAT IS BEING COMPLETED . MY GUESS IS THAT 50 % OR FEWER ROOMS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED, COMPLETELY RESTORED READY TO BE REOCCUPIED. I DID NOT ENTER THE UNITS BUT COULD SEE FROM THE WINDOWS WHAT WAS BEING DONE AND PROBABLY THE REASON FOR THE COMPLAINT WHICH WAS VERY VAGUE. C/E HAS NO ISSUES. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
