Arrived and the units were clearing the site and the fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The building has been vacant and unsecured on and off for some time. The City has taken action several time securing. Did call the owner and let him know that the building had a fire and the City was taken action to have the building secured. The fire was in the rear of the building where some storage rooms have been burned several times where burned again tonight. The fire did get inside the building and burned the rafters and the sheathing on the northeast corner of the building. The interior of the building has no ceiling, electrical and some of the walls were knocked down. This structure will be recommended for demo due to the amount of calls to the site. RV. |
