Arrived and did find a travel trailer parked outside a vacant and secured house. Did check records on the house at 5742 S. Morris Blvd. and has not had water on for 5 years. The electrical was off and was getting electrical from this address. Did call the owner and the extention cord was removed from an outlet in the carport area by the owner of the property. There was a discussion on why the extension cord has to be removed and the owner was advised if he wants to leave the extension cord, that a permit will need to be issued and inspected by Planning and Development Service Department. Did go over the the travel trailer is parked on another property and will need 2-permits due to the owner will have to give permission to be where parked at this time. The travel trailer is parked in the right away and will need to get approval for that and may require a permit to remain in the area outside the chain link fence area by the street. Did have up to 8-people come out of the travel trailer when I pulled up and was waiting to check the site. The owner was not on site and did call the owner of this property and he came out to remove the cord. The trailer belongs to his son and he finally came out to talk. Did serve the N.O.V. to Vacate to the owner of the trailer and posted a Do Not Enter on the side door. Did let the owner know if I'm called back that the trailer will be secured with plywood to prevent entry into the travel trailer. The owner of the trailer stated that his truck broke down and make the needed repairs and move the trailer out. I advised that I will be checking next week and the travel trailer needs to be removed. Will check in 7 days. RV. |
