09/18/2020	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were clearing the site. The arson investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire was in the rear of the main structure on the northwest corner in a isolated room for the water heater and possible storage room and attached. The property is vacant and the main structure which was an office that has closed was secured and did a force entry to check for the fire extension into the house. The interior of the house has light smoke damage in the Northwest room at the ceiling area but no fire damage. The main structure has no fire or structual damage but may require checking the wood over hang when the demo is done on the roof where connected . The room involved in the fire was a masonry structure on the walls having heat damage and the wood frame roof has burned completely. Does have another structure in the rear of the main structure and that was not involved with the fire. The windows have bars and the windows panes have been broken in areas. The owner was not able to make contact with and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secured. The rear door to the main structure has a force entry to enter the structure to check for the fire in the area on the interior of the house. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and place the N.O.V. to Vacate on the front window. Did call the owners and left a message to call back. This property has had several fire before this fire and the last was several months ago on a wood frame shed. The rear building that is detached from the main structure had a couple of fires in the interior of the building. Will call the area inspector to let know of the fire. This property needs to be demo'ed due to the activity with the homeless. RV.
09/18/2020	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	GONZALEZ	Approved	TFD CALL OUT- UPON ARRIVAL OF A VACANT STRUCTURES WITH INACTIVE UTILITIES, THE SOUTH END OFFICE BUILDING AT THE PROPERTY OF 1008 W. SAINT MARYS RD. THERE HAS BEEN A CONTENT FIRE INSIDE THE ATTACHED ISOLATED WATER HEATER CLOSET CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE ROOF MEMBERS, ELECTRICAL AND INTERIOR PLUMBING. THE WOOD FRAME MEMBERS ARE CHARD AND SEVERELY ALLIGATORED IN THE WATER HEATER CLOSET THEY ARE IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. TUCSON FIRE DID A FORCE ENTRY INTO THE MAIN STRUCTURE THAT HAS WATER DAMAGE ALONG WITH THE CEILING DRYWALL DAMAGE FROM FIRE INSPECTION HOLES IN THE CEILING RAFTER'S AREA. INSIDE THE STRUCTURE AT THE WESTERN BEDROOM SOUTH OF THE WATER HEATER CLOSET, THE ROOF RAFTERS ARE BLACKENED FROM THE FIRE, THERE IS M.C. ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS THAT ENTER THE FIRE ZONE AREA AND TRAVELS THROUGH THE BEDROOM. THE STRUCTURE HAS MIX CONSTRUCTION (ADOBE, CMU AND WOOD FRAME) THE ELECTRICAL HAS MIXED COMBINATION OF KNOB AND TUBE ALONG WITH M.C. CABLE. PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL REPAIRS. UNFIT TO OCCUPY PLACARD HAS BEEN POSTED ON SITE ALONG WITH NOTICE AND ORDER. CITY CONTRACTOR HAS BEEN CALLED OUT TO SECURE, CONTACT WITH RESPONSIBLE PARTY HAS BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL.
