09/07/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. and T.P.D. on site with a car into the house. Arrived and a vehicle from the north bound lane came across the street and hit the house. The vehicle hit an adobe wall and broke the hose bibb from the pipe going through the wall. The wall has cracks that go through the interior but the wall was not pushed in. The wall has a crush mark where the vehicle hit the wall. The owner were on the phone with the insurance on getting the water line fixed. The owners were on site and signed the paperwork and did not have to secure the area due to all is OK at this time. The owners had a place to stay if the water does not get back on. The owner was working with the insurance company when leaving the site. Did discuss with the owner on what the insurance may do on the block being repaired. If the block is removed and replaced that a permit will be required. RV.
12/09/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved A contractor has called and all the work that is going to be done will be repair work. The area that was damaged was minimal and will be able to all be repaired by tucking the joints in the masonry wall. At this time the case will be closed and the permit will not be required. The contractor was going to check the electrical in the wall when doing the repairs. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
