Were checking for hot spots and the fire investigators were just arriving to the site. The clean up was starting of the hose pick up. The fire was in the guest house at this address. This property is 16 acres and all family members on the property. The guest house is detached from the main house and is a total lost. The front of the structure is completely burned and the fire got into the attic area of the living area of the house. The drywall has been pulled down on the ceiling to fight the fire in the attic. The wood trusses have been burned at the top of the trusses. The electrical was removed at the main electrical panel on the main house. There was no gas and the water was turned off at a pump by the house due to the water line has been damaged from the heat of the fire. The owner was not on site due to out of town and the son was on site and signed the papework on site. The guest house is a total lost. The son was going to have the area secured and due to the amount of damage may have it demo'ed. RV. |
