09/01/2020	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units are cleaning up and checking for hot spots. The fire started in the area of 345 E. 12th St. and carried over to this unit by the front porch. The interior of the unit has no fire damage but has a broken window, a window above the door has been broken. The house was secured with plywood by Arcaiden Industries the city contractor due to the owner not able to secure the property. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork. The tenants were allowed to remove items from the unit before secured. The electrical was removed at the meter due to the amount of damage. There was no gas on the property and Southwest Gas did check the area for gas leaks and all was OK. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front door on the plywood. The owner will let the tenants back in at a later time. RV.
09/01/2020	INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE	VIDAL	Approved	The unit is vacant and secured and the owner has no insurance. The owner will be working on getting this unit back up and checking on the getting the electrical back on with the permit. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
