Arrived on the property with inspector Morales and found 2-people in the rear unit that is detached from the main house house. The female is the sister of the owner of the property. The property has several structures on the property and the 2-rear structures are not secured which are detached from the main house and detached from each other. The main house is secured but has a small room in the rear of the house and has items for bedding and has people sleeping in the area. The small room on the south side has signs of people staying in the room. The storage room on the north side has 2-people in the area and they were asked to leave due to has no utilities to the property due to non payment or off by owners requests. The property has trash and debris on the rear of the property and some is storage for the people on the site at this time. The female is the sister of the owner of the property with a boyfriend staying with the sister. Was not able to talk to the owner on the phone due to he was working. Did call the supervisor Martin Romero and received permission to have the property secured. Did have broken windows or opened windows on the main house. Some of the trash and debris appears to be for scrap metal to sell. Has 2-vehicles on the property that are not operable. While measuring for the plywood the owner and the sister showed to the property and went over on the activity on the property and did see while being on the property how people kept showing up. Did let the owner know that just being on the property for 2 hours on more than 10 people showed to the property and were asked to leave the site. The sister signed the paperwork to vacate the property. Did the posting on the tall grass and weeds, trash and debris and the JMV's with storage on the property. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the property to have all the structures secured with plywood. Did not cover the front windows or door on the front of the house. While doing the securing, did have vehicles pulling up they were not allowed to come on the property. The mother of the sister and owner of the property showed and help remove some of the items from the unit. The property did have water but the water meter had a zip tie still on the curb stop. Inspector Morales called the water department and they will be looking at changing the meter to have the water stop leaking into the line. Did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window and side door on the house and on both units on the rear of the property. The sister did leave the items out of the unit before the unit was secured. The owner was advised that he need to control who is on the propert and know when someone is on the property at all times. Once secured did let the sister know that they needed to be removed from the property by dark. The mother has a truck and they were going to start loading the truck to take to the house of the mother. Will check on Friday. RV. |
