08/06/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH MAINTANENCE PERSON AND TEP TECH UPON ARRIVAL. TEP EXPLAINED THAT WHEN HE ARRIVED THE PANEL WAS ARCHING AND THE LEFT SIDE OF THE PANEL WAS ON FIRE. THE PANEL WAS FED FROM THE TRANSFORMER AND ENTERED THE PANEL FROM THE LEFT 3 METERS TO THE 3 METERS ON THE RIGHT. TEP STATED THEY HAD TO CUT POWER AT THE TRANSFORMER THAT KILLED POWER TO THE ENTIRE COMPLEX (BUILDING), HE REMOVED THE FEEDS TO THE PANEL THAT KILLED POWER TO THE 6 UNITS AND THEN REENERGIZED THE BUILDING. THE METERS WERE REMOVED. THE FEEDS WERE WERE REMOVED AND TAPED FOR SAFETY. MAINTANENCE CONTACTED SOVEREIGN ELECTRIC, TO MAKE REPAIRS TO THE PANEL WHO STATED THEY WOULD NOT BE OUT UNTIL APPROX 6-7 AM. MANAGER EDGAR V. HAD ALREADY INFORMED THE OCCUPANTS THEY WULD NEED TO BE HOUSED BECAUSE OF NO ELECTRIC. C/E WALKED THE STRUCTURE WITH TFD, FOUND UNIT80 5 WAS VACANT, OCCUPANTS IN UNIT 806 AND 815 WERE ON SITE AND ASKED TO OBTAIN NECESSARY CLOTHES AND MEDICATIONS THAT THEY WERE BEING PLACED IN A MOTEL, UNITS #816, 825 AND 826 WERE NOT ON SITE BUT WERE NOTIFIED THAT OCCUPANTS FROM ALL 5 UNITS WERE BEING PLACED AT LA QUINTA ON NORTH ALVERNON, RESERVATIONS WERE MADE BY MANAGER. A NOTICE WAS PLACED ON THE 3 DOORS OF OCCUPANTS NOT HOME, BY THE MANAGER INFORMING THEM RESERVATIONS HAD BEEN MADE AND WHERE. A NOV WAS ISSUED TO MAKE ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS TO THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE PANEL FOR THE 6 UNITS AND THAT A ELECTRICAL DISCONNECT WOULD BE REQUIRED.INFORMED MINTANENCE AND MANAGER THE SOVERIEGN ELECTRICAL COULD OBTAIN A PERMIT ON THEIR APA ACCOUNT. NOV FOR PERMITS REQUIRED SIGNED FOR BY THE MANAGER. NOV FOR EMERGENCY VACATE OF THE 5 OCCUPIED UNITS ALSO ISSUED AND SIGNED FOR BY MANAGER. MANAGER ASKED THAT PLACARDS NOT BE PLACED ON THE DOORS OR WINDOWS OF UNITS FOR FEAR OF THEFT. ALL ISSUES FOR THE ELCTRICAL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COVERED, ALL TENNANTS HAVE BEEN HOUSED, NOV FOR PERMITS REQUIRED AND EMERGENCY VACATE ISSUED AND SIGNED FOR. MANAGEMENT DID AN EXCELLANT JOB COVERING ALL ISSUES. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
