MET WITH TENNANTS IN UNITS #57 AND 59 AND MAINTANENCE PERSON, FOUND BROKEN WATER LINE UNDER THE BATHROOM SINK IN UNIT #59. FROM THE SHUT OFF VALVE TO THE FAUCET. TURNED OFF THE SHUT OFF VALVE WHICH ALLOWED OCCUPANTS TO STILL HAVE WATER TO THE UNIT INSTEAD OF SHUTTING WATER OFF. MAINTANENCE CONTACTED THE WATER EXTRACTION COMPANY WHO GAVE A 1 HR ETA. WHAT WATER COULD BE REMOVED WAS REMOVED BY THE OCCUPANTS IN BOTH 57 AND 59 AND LINOLIUM FLOORS MOPPED UP. GAVE THE OCCUPANTS MY CARD. I EXPLAINED THAT WATER WOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE FLOORS AND CARPET AND FANS PLACED INSIDE THE UNIT TO DRY IT OUT. I EXPLAINED TO THE OCCUPANTS THAT THEY MAY WANT THE UNIT SANITIZED BY THE EXTRACTION COMPANY. CODE ENFORCEMENT HAD NO OTHER ISSUES AND MOVED TO EXIT THE PROPERTY. THE ONLY REPAIRS WOULD BE THE WATER LINE FROM THE SHUT OFF TO THE SINK FAUCET. NOV WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
