07/10/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Supervisor Martin Romero called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and all the units were on site and were checking for hot spots and cleaning up. The fire investigators are on site and checking for cause. The fire was at the wood frame storage room that was attached to the main house. The fire burned the carport area with the rafters, beams, sheathing all burned or charred. Vent holes cut on the storage room and the carport area. The water heater was electric and all the water lines have burned and came apart at the masonry wall to the house in the storage room side. The electrical was removed at the meter and has no gas to the property due to all electric. The fire burned into the kitchen area and breaking the window and burning the door down. The overhang has burning at the kitchen area in the rear of the house. The drywall was removed to check for fire in the rafters in different spots in the house. The wood siding was all burned on the exterior of the storage room. Has some storage on the exterior of the storage room on the rear of the house. The owner was on site and signed the paperwork. The owner was not able to find anyone to have the property secured and gave permission to have the property secured by the City of Tucson contractor. The house was a rental and was going to remove some of the items out of the house. The Redcross was called for placement. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. Owner has no insurance and the tenant has rental insurance. RV.
