07/09/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The supervisor Martin Romero called that T.P.D. on site with a homeless camps by a wash. Arrived and all the units were still on site and was removing the people on site due to a different issues for the neighborhood. Approx. 15 people. The area was behind this address in a wash and goes into a box barrel culvert. All the people were removed at this time and the Brush and Bulky crew was called to the site to have the area cleaned. Did call inspector Gerald Goodman to assist on removing the items out of the box culvert. The camps are in a box barrel culvert that goes to the Santa Cruz River. The box culvert has a grate at Santa Paula St. and cleaned from the east end of the box culvert to the grate at this time. At the grate does have more debris that is piled under the grate and will call transportation to check if the grate can be removed for access to remove the trash and debris. The wash was cleaned to the east of the box culvert and stopped at the grate due to how far to take the items out. The wing walls did have graffiti and went into the walls of the culvert. G.P.C. was called to the site and the graffiti was covered up with painting over the graffiti. There was posting of No Tresspassing painted on the wing walls at different areas. The area was cleaned and at this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
