06/18/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VINDIOLA Approved received the call from customer service. Immediately called the tenant Vicky Vine as she explained to me that she had been dealing with this for several weeks. Maintenance was there just as of yesterday and cold air is coming out of the vents however it is not being pushed. Vicki also explained to me that she had already spoken to management today Thursday June 18th and they would be sending people down to look at her unit once again. Because of the protocol covid-19 I made contact with management over the phone. Spoke to Angelica and she was well aware of the situation. She explained to me that she will have AC specialist at this unit later on today. She also let me know that they are on a chiller system and the chiller system is only operating at 75%. Furthermore she has a chiller company called Tron who will be on site later today as well trying to make the chiller system operate at 100%. I asked if there is a possibility of getting a fan to this unit in the meantime, she stated she would run that through upper management and get that all squared away. I will touch base with both management and the Tenant a little bit later on today. However wheels are on motion to get this problem taken care of
06/22/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VINDIOLA Approved I called and spoke with occupant of apartment 7 5 7 Vicki Vine. State they came back on Friday and ask Vicki to clean out her closet so that they could get into the AC area to clean the coils. She was upset and went down there and ask for a test of ambient air inside and outside the apartment. She then asked for that information to be documented and a copy give you given to her. As of yet that information has not been given to her. While on the phone with her somebody from the maintenance department knocked on the door and tried to get in to get the AC squared away. Vicki did not let them in until she gets her paperwork she was asked to go down and speak with the manager to get that paperwork. Management did send Vicky a portable AC unit, what she is currently using and is comfortable with. At this point City of Tucson will back out of this case because she does have portable AC. Management is aware of the situation, and is taking steps to take care of it. At this point the occupant and management are in a stalemate, not letting maintenance in to do the work because of paperwork that the tenant is asking for. I advised the tenant Vicky that I would be closing out this case and she understood
