The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The house was vacant and unsecured. The fire was in the rear of the house on an addition that was added. The windows and door were burned in the fire that were part of the room addition. The overhang at the window area has burning and charring on the raftertails exposed to the exterior. Had 2-other doors that were forced open to gain entry into the house and damaged. The drywall was burned in the room addition and the ceiling was pulled down to check for fire in the rafters. No damage to the wood framing. Has heavy smoke damage through out the interior of the house The electrical meters were removed in March when the property was condemned by inspector Goodman. The gas meter was removed due to the amount of the fire and the unit was vacant. Not able to locate the owner or a rep. for the property and called Arcaiden Industries to have the property secured.
