The car has hit a masonry wall on the exterior of the property and into the house in the living room area. The wall is a wood frame wall with chicken wire and a one coat system of stucco. The interior wall is drywall. The stucco is able to see into the house from the impact. The wall has 2-windows and the trimmers and king studs in the middle of the windows have been pushed into the house approx. 3" and off the bottom plate. The wall has electrical and some low voltage wiring in the wood studs. Some of the cripples have broken or split on the window. The drywall has fallen on the bottom of the window and has cracking on the edges of the windows. The stucco has some cracking on the upper portion of the corners of the windows. The electrical is all working and nothing has been turned off to the unit. The windows are all working and has a sliding glass door and also working at this time. Not able to make contact with the property manager and called Arcaide Industries to have the area secured. The tenant will be able to remain in the unit and will have to check to remain when the repairs start. RV. |
