| 05/14/2020 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Had a fire in unit #250 and the electrical was turned off at the main breakers. The unit did have some smoke in the unit due to on the same side of the fire. The unit was checked once the power was turned back on all is working at this time. The window in the living room was broken due to the fire from heat of the fire. The door was kicked to check if anyone in the unit and found it empty. Did get with the manager on site and once the investigation was completed, the maintenance crew came to the site and replaced the slider on the window and the door was made to lock at this time. The door jamb may be replaced at a later time but the door is locking. The carpet will need to be cleaned from foot prints on the carpet from the fire fighters entering the unit. Did let the tenants back into the unit one the repairs were completed and will be able to remain in the unit. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
