05/14/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Had a fire on the upper unit and the water has leaked through the ceiling. There is no fire damage but the drywall is bowing where the water is leaking. Once the investigation was completed, did go inside the unit and made holes in the drywall to let the water that is holding in the area to drip down to the floor. The floor has a couple of inches of water on floor. The meter was removed due to the water damage and will need a permit to get the power back on once the unit has been repaired. The tenants were placed in another unit and will be back to get the furniture to move to the other unit in a few days. The manager will be changing the locks and the tenant will need permission to get back into the unit. Did to the posting of Do Not Enter on the front entrance area and the manager was on site and signed the paperwork. Did let the tenants into the unit to get the items they needed to take with them to the other unit.
05/15/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The unit is vacant and secured and at this time the case will be closed. The owner will be working with the insurance company and getting a contractor. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
