Does have a fatality and getting warrant for the investigation. The electrical was turned off to 10-units and will be checking to have the units turned back on if able to once they have been checked. The unit is a burn out and will be a total lost. The fire was in the living room area and has heavy smoke damage through out. No vent holes cut on the roof. All the drywall was burned and the wood framing appears to be not damaged by the fire. The fire was on the second floor and the lower unit has water damage and leaking through the ceiling through out the unit. The fire broke the window next door on the second floor and the lower unit next door has water damage to the carpet. This unit is all electric and the meter was removed. The manager was on site and signed the paperwork and will secure the unit. Once the investigation was completed, the manger was called to secure the unit. The unit is a total lost and will be posted Do Not Enter at the front entrance area on the wood siding. |
