05/10/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a hoarding case. Arrived and the owner has been transported to the hospital for medical reasons. The interior of the house is filled with trash and debris and storage through out the house. The bedrooms are not able to enter due to to filled up to 4' in height with storage. The hallway is filled and have to walk sideways to get through. The bathroom are able to get to and not a cluttered. The kitchen are not able to walk through due to filled with storage and trash and debris. Does have a water heater in the area and has items next to the water heater and stacked around the water heater. You have to walk in a path to get through the kitchen to get to the hallway. The dinning room and the living room are filled with cabinets, shelving, trash and debris with storage and the owner has been sleeping on the couch in the living room. When walking in the house your are stepping on trash and debris approx 1' high. All the windows and doors are being blocked and the only way in and out of the house is through the front door. The front door has items all around the door and have to push items to get the door to open and close. The gas and the electric will be removed at the meters. Did have to cut trees and bushes to get to the electric main service due to was being blocked with the growth of the branches and limbs. The meter was removed and blanked. The gas meter was pinned. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. Covered all the windows with plywood and screwed the doors. Did talk to some of the neighbors and they were not sure if he had family members around or anyone to call. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front and rear windows on the plywood. Did go to the hospital to have the owner served the paperwork and let the hospital know that the house was condemned. Did leave a card at the hospital in case they wanted to call. The exterior of the house will need to be cleaned due to has dry weeds and tall grass. Did have to cut some of the trees and bushes to get to some of the windows to have secured with the plywood. He also has J.M.V.'s on the side of the house that have not moved for some time. RV.
05/14/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The building is vacant and secured. Not sure where the owner is located but the hospital has called to check on the condition of the house. The hospital was advised on he issues that need to be done to get the owner back into the house. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
