05/09/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a medical call and not able to remove the person from the house due to the amount of dogs in he house. Arrived and found close to 40 dogs on the property in the house and has dog waste all around the house. The roof is leaking and the drywall has fallen from the ceiling in several areas. The house has not been cleaned for some time and the floor is slippery due to the dog waste all over the place on the floor. The owner was taken to the hospital due to had a stroke. The room mate did stay on the property and signed the paperwork. Did call Redcross for placement. The Redcross will not be able to assist and was calling other agencies to check if they can assist on the placement. Animal Control came to the site and are having trouble for the placement of the animals at this time due to the amount on site. Did call the supervisor Martin Romero for approval to wait till Tuesday for the vacating the property due to the animals and not able to find placement. The delay was granted and the room mate was OK with that and at this time is surrendering the animal to Pima Animal Center Care. The room mate signed all the paperwork knowing that on Tuesday we will be back to have the property condemned. RV.
05/13/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved Received a call from Cliff Wade that the plywood placed on the window on the east side of the house has been removed. Arrived and the house was secured on all the openings. No signs of the plywood being removed from the window. At this time the case will be closed due to the owner will have to work on getting the house repaired and the utilities back on. Have another case on getting the property cleaned. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
