02/03/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units still on site and checking for hot spots. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The fire was on the west side wood frame porch that had drywall on the ceiling area. The drywall was pulled down to check for the fire in the rafters. The wood posts and rafters have some charring where not burned. The main electrical panel was involved in the fire and the wires were cut at the pole. The gas was removed at the meter due to the damage from the fire. The door on the west side has been burned and will be secured. The drywall by the door was pulled down to check for fire going into the house and found none. The house has light smoke damage when the door was opened to fight the fire. Smoke detectors were lacking in the house and the sleeping areas are scattered through out the house. The porch was bearing on the west wall. The porch has shelves filled with storage. Some of the over hang has some burning on the wood rafters. All the other openings were able to have secured. Redcross was called to the site due to 11-people were removed from the house. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front and side windows and the owner signed the paperwork on site. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the door opening secured. RV.
05/27/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house is vacant and secured and at this time the case will be closed. The owner will be working with the insurance company and getting a contractor. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
