01/12/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communiction called that T.F.D. and T.P.D. on site with a car into building. Arrived and the fire units have cleared and T.P.D. has been doing the blocking of the area. A van has hit the southeast section of the building and knocked down the masonry block. Has cracks in the wall pass the hole made in the wall where pushed in. No one on site for the building which is a church and did go to the address shown for the owner and they are not part of the church. One of the address was the previous owner and sold the church to a spanish owner and is a spanish church. The owner did show to the property while the investigation was being done. The owner signed the paperwork and gave permission to have the property secured. Called Arcaiden Industries to the property to have the area secured. The van hit the building and knocking a hole in adobe block. This accident was part of several location of damage and involved buildings and other vehicles. The van knocked down adobe block and made a hole where a corner for an off set was removed. The hole is 9' x 9' and 8' x 8'. The wall has crack through out the wall from the impact from being hit. The area has 2-section of bearing the roof load and have been shored up to support the wall at this time. The front lobby is blocked off to place the plywood and supports and when done will be able to use the lobby. The room that was damaged is a crying room for babies when the services are being done. The door from the lobby has been blocked off and posted with a placard of Do Not Enter on the plywood. The plywood has been secured on the exterior and was not posted due to will be able to use the other portion of the building. Did have inspectior Lopez on site on helping identify electrical circuits and on the shoring and placing the plywood. RV.
01/15/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property is secured and will still be able to use the property where not damaged by the vehicle. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
