01/08/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and have put the fire out. The fire investigators were on site checking for cause. The wood framed porch in the rear of the house is a total lost and was on the ground. The fire enter the rear of the house and burned the bedroom and open area to the rear of the house. The house was vacant and secured and did forced entry into the house. The house had security bars and some were removed to vent the house. The back section of the house has holes in the roof and ceiling where the fire burned through. Not able to locate the owner and did try and call them and live out of state. Called Arcaiden industries to the site to have the property secured. All the windows and doors in the rear of the house have been burned. The interior of the house has o ceiling and the attic area is exposed where pulled down to work in the attic. The electrical was off at the meter on owner request and the gas meter was removed from the property leaving the house all electric. The first unit did find someone sleeping on a mattress at the rear of the metal shed. The shed was also burned with all the contents burned. The interior of the house has smoke damage through out. The ceilings have been removed and exposed the attic area through out. Posted all the paperwork on the front window on the plywood. Posted Do Not Enter in different areas. RV.
01/15/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property is vacant and secured. The property is cleaned up at this time and will be closing the case. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
