01/02/2020 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved T.P.D. called that they are on site with a house lacking utilities and people living in the house. Arrived and all the units were still on site doing an investigation on the property. The house was lacking all utilities due to lack of payment. The house has no heating and cooling, no water heater and the main electrical disconnect has double lugging and will require an upgrade to have the electrical turned back on. They were using a propane tank with a heater connected to the tank for heat in one of the rooms. The house was cluttered with items in the house and has no clear paths to doors and windows. The owners have both died and the son was on the property and not able to maintain the property. Due to the traffic on the site and has no legal owner for the property, the house was being secured by covering all the openings with plywood. T.P.D. has completed their investigation and allowed for the house to be secured. Called Arcaiden Industires to the site to have the property secured. The son and any one staying in the house at this time was allowed to get the items they wanted to take from the house and will not be allowed back into the house. Did do the posting of the paperwork on the front of the house with the Do Not Enter and the Do Not Enter were place in several areas. They did have some arrest on the property and one person was taken to jail. Will have to wait till someone takes over the property. RV.
05/27/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property is cleaned with being vacant and secured and the house is starting to go into probate, will be closing the case. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
