Arrived and the units were still on site and were starting to clean the area to leave the scene. The fire was a candle left on on a book shelf. The fire went up the book case onto some paperwork on top of the book shelf than to the refrigerator area. The house has heavy smoke damage through out and the light fixtures on the ceilings have melted through from the heat. Some holes were made above the refrigerator to check for fire in the walls and ceilings. The gas was left off by Southwest Gas until the repairs are completed with out an inspection. The electrical was left off at the breaker and placed a city lock on the panel until checked by an electrician. The tenants were asked to not stay in the unit until cleaned up and the drywall sealed. The tenant signed the paperwork on site due to not able to make contact with the owner of the property. The tenant was going to lock the unit once he gathers the items taken out for the night. No structual damage to the building only the drywall. RV. |
