| 11/04/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Southwest Gas called that they needed the stickers removed from the house of Do Not Enter in order to have the gas turned back on. Arrived and the person going to stay on the property showed me what they wanted and was not able to do what they wanted. The house has not been cleared to be lived in. Still has the windows and doors covered with plywood. The electrical is not on to the house due to was not going to be used. The water heater is in the house and if boarded up, will not have access to the water heater. Did call the supervisor Martin Romero on this and he agrees that the water heater in the house will need to have access to the outside and not in the house. Did call back to Southwest Gas and explained on what was going to be done and they also agreed to not have the gas turned back on until the casita has it's own water heater or re-route the gas line with out going through the house. Did call the person doing the work and let him know that the gas will not be turned back on and why. The person that was trying to get into the casita was told that they can not stay in the casita until the water heater is on it's owner and not on the house area. They are going to look for another place. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV. |
