| 10/22/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were still on site with a unit fire. The units were in the process of cleaning up on the trucks and had the fire fighters trying to push the water out the doors that went to the outside. The fire was contained to this unit but did water damage to other units when the sprinkler went off. The fire was at the stove area where the person put water on a fire with grease in a pan. The sprinkler head went off over the sink that was next to the stove. The drywall has smoke damage including the cabinets with some smoke near the sink area. No damage to the framing for the room. The unit will be posted Do Not Enter and the person is being taken to another unit. The water did go to the bottom units and sideways on the second floor. The elctrical was removed at the sub-panel in the room. The second floor room that were vacated left the electrical on due to the water was only on the floor. The bottom floors that had water, the electrical was turned off at the sub-panels due to the water was still dripping and will check tomorrow. All the rooms that were vacated have been posted. Will check for other damage tomorrow. RV. |
