10/22/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved The office called that sewer was running on the property. Arrived and the inspector Valencia from P.D.S.D. was on site due to having a demo inspection and the sewer was connected from the neighboring property which is not allowed. The property next door has been demo'ed and trying to get a final on the demo permit. Due to the sewer from this property to the vacant lot, the permit next door can't be approved. This owner of the property has been advised on an earlier case that the sewer need to be removed from next door and only has a trench dug at this time and no permits. Have advised all the tenants that the property is going to be condemned at this time and that the utilities will be removed and will not be allowed to remain on the property. The units were posted Do Not Enter. Did call the supervisor Martin Romero on the issues on the property and received permission to remove the electrical at the pole and the gas meters. The property has new mini-split systems on the roof and the electrical disconnect has been double lugged. The gas water heater has no enclosure and and the install has not been completed due to lacking the TPR drain line. The main gas line are not supported by the meter. The owner did show up to the site and was placing the tenants. The owner signed the paperwork on site. Did go over on what needs to be done. The owner did call a plumber and the plumber showed to the site while on the property. Once the electrical and the gas removed from the property left the site. RV.
11/04/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property is vacant and secured and the owner has been in contact with the work being done. The permit has been issued, T19CM04021 on 10-4-19 and had and inspection on 11-1-19 but was cancelled before inspected. At this time the case will be closed and the owner will have to have inspection to the property before the gas and the electrical can be turned back on. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
