09/16/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The house has been checked by the property manager and they are getting the contractor to check the site for the repairs to be started. The property manager is trying to get the info on the person that was driving the vehicle to find the insurance company to call them on paying for the damage. At this time the case will be closed. 09/16/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with a car into the building. Arrived and the units were still on site and the car hit the southeast corner of the house which was the main entrance to the house. The corner post wood framing has been pushed into the house, the trimmer for the front door has been brokened. The exterior of the house was 1" foam with chicken wire and one coat system of stucco with drywall on the interior. The interior drywall has cracks in different area around the windows on the east side. The house is a rental and the owner lives out of state. Does have a property manager and was able to make contact with the property manager and she had the tenant sign the paperwork. They have no other place to send the tenants to. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the area secured due to the property manager is not able to have the area secured at this time. Was able to have the corner post put back into a position that will allow the tenants to remain in the house. Did talk to the tenants due to has some exposed wood where it split on the door jamb area. The tenant was going to block off the area to not allow anyone in the area by the entry door. Did check all the smoke detectors and were all working and interconnected, the garage door was working and has a sliding glass door in the rear of the house and that is working. The sliding glass door goes to the rear yard area. There is not any other damage to any other areas and the tenants will remain in the house at this time. The property manager has called a plumber to check the clean outs that have been broken due to the dirt and rocks are falling into the pipe due to the pipe broke below the grade level. The contractor will go to the site on Monday to check the damage. RV.
