08/17/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. was on site with hoarding. Arrived and the units were still on site and have been on site since the afternoon with a medical call on a infant. The house was being used by squatters and has hoarding issues. Had homeless people in the rear yard space in several areas. The rear yard has extension cords going to different areas from the house and using zip cords on surge protectors to add more cords. The interior of the house has no clear paths to the doors and windows through out the house and has added addition and all connected. Was not able to contact the owner and did the posting of the N.O.V. to Vacate and the N.O.V for permits required for the gas and the electric to be turned back on. The gas and the electric have been removed at the meters due to the condition of the interior of the house and the extension cords being used in the rear yard and the interior of the house. T.P.D. did go to the address listed for the owner and was contacted on what was being done with the house. Called Arcaiden Industries to the property to have all the opening secured. The owner was not able to come to the property due to her age and not able to get anyone to the property to have secured. Did post Do Not Enter on the front window on the plywood on 4-different areas of the front and rear of the house. The electrical and the gas have been remove at the meter and the water was left on at this time. RV.
08/19/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The property had the rear door opened by force. The metal security door has been damaged to gain entry. The front door was opened by the wooden door but the metal security door was still closed shut. Did go through the house with inspector Morales and the house was clear. Could tell that items have been removed from the interior of the house and did find some of the items in the side yard area. The people removed from the property did show up and they met with the owner of the property. The owner had a friend on site with her and they were going to start cleaning the property. Did go over on keeping the property secured at all times and that that the interior needs to be cleaned also. The owner did state that the electrical needs to be turned back on and did advise that a permit will be required and the friend the owner had was a contractor. He will check the interior of the house the try and get the permit. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
