08/06/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Had a vehicle hit the bottom unit and this unit is above the damaged unit. The wall was hit in the corner of the structure and not sure if any of the wood framing has been damage from the impact. The door to the balcony is hard to open and closed to get on the wooden deck. The windows at this time are opening and closing at this time. Was not able to see any cracks in the walls and ceiling areas in the area that was hit on the bottom unit. The unit was vacated at this time until a contractor is able to check the damage on the bottom and allow the tenants to return to the upper unit. The owner was on site and he signed the paperwork and the owner was going to have the unit secured once the tenant is placed in a hotel. The unit will need to be checked once the work starts on the bottom unit. The electrical has been left on the property at this time. RV.
08/07/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The unit is vcant and secured. At this time the case will be closed due to the owner is working with the insurance company and getting a contractor to do the work. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
