Arrived on site and spoke to Will and Chris the Fire Inspectors who were just arriving on site asked that I give him 15 to 20 minutes to assess the unit. After that time I was allowed into the unit in this building 261 there are four units. Two units on top and two units on the bottom bottom unit f261 sustained fire damage mostly in the kitchen with heavy sheetrock damage and damage to the electrical system in this area. Unit is a one bedroom apartment with heavy smoke damage to the sheetrock throughout the entire apartment as well as water damage to the rug. Southwest Gas was on site as well as tep. Maintenance man Manny shut off all the buildings power at the breaker. With the fire inspectors checked the other three units I've only which one was occupied on the top floor. No damage seen did see lingering smoke. Management was going to move out on a temporary basis the top unit that was occupied in order to get a Restoration company in to clean the vents and the carpet. Maintenance Manny was allowed to power up that occupied unit G. All was okay when I left the unit. Fire damage unit posted by front door and sliding glass door. Management on site to sign paperwork and we'll lock up all the units as they are on site. Manager Denise handled everything phone number 631-3069 |
