MET WITH RYAN YOUNG OCCUPANT WHO ALLOWED ENTRY, OCCUPANT KNEW IT WAS A SEWER BACK UP BUT CALLED IT IN FOR A BROKEN LINE FOR FASTER SERVICE. THERE WAS WATER IN THE UNIT BUT NOT CLOSE TO A INCH. APPEARED OCCUPANT HAD MOPPED UP MOST OF THE WATER BUT WANTED OWNER TO PAY FOR FURNITURE THAT GOT WET. I EXPLAINED IT WAS BETWEEN HIM AND THE OWNER. I DID CONTACT THE OWNER LARRY HUTTER. MR HUTTER SAID HE HAD A PROFESSIONAL COMPANY COME OUT AND SNAKE THE DRAIN I TOLD HIM I WANTED A LICENSED PLUMBER TO INSPECT THE SEWER LINE AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY CORRECTIONS TO THE SEWER AND TO CHECK IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SEWER BETWEEN UNIT G AND H. NOV WAS ISSUED FOR A EVALUATION AND CORRECTIONS TO THE SEWER LINE WITHIN 5 DAYS. FOLLOW UP ON 6/27/19
06/27/2019 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE GOODMAN Approved RECEIVED CALL FROM OWNER THAT HE DID SEND A LICENSED PLUMBING CONTRACTOR TO ABATE THE SEWER ISSUE. OWNER IS ALLOWING THE TENANT OUT OF HIS LEASE AND GIVEN HIM TEN DAYS TO BE OUT OF THE APT. SPOKE WITH THE OCCUPANT WHO STATED HE DID WANT OUT OF THE LEASE AND CAN BE OUT WITHIN THE 10 DAYS. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
