Unless otherwise exempt pursuant to section 301 of the Administrative Code, as adopted by reference per section 6-1 of this Code, or pursuant to any other ordinance or statute, no building, structure or building service equipment regulated by this chapter or by the technical codes adopted by the city shall be built, erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, improved, removed, converted or demolished unless a permit first has been obtained from the building official in the manner provided in the administrative and building codes adopted by the city. The purpose of a permit is to ensure that all construction is inspected by qualified City of Tucson personnel as directed by ordinance to verify compliance with city codes. Failure to obtain proper permit with inspections and approvals shall deem the construction to be unsafe. |

06/27/2019 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | VIDAL | Approved | Supervisor Martin Romero called to check the site for work with out permits. Arrived and the workers have left the site and was able to look around and look through the windows. The roof has new shingles and some plywood was replace and unable to check on how many sheets were replaced. The AC package unit has been replace with new and the gas line is new and capped at this time through the roof. Has a new water heater and the drywall has been re-done and not able to say on how many sheets of drywall was replaced due to all has been textured and painted. Has a metal container in the rear yard that will need to be check if the permit was approved on the location it was placed. A new landscape masonry wall has been built in the rear of the house near a concrete slab. A 10' x 22' room has been added to the rear of the house and appears to be for the kitchen to be placed and the existing kitchen will be move to the new location. The drain has been moved to the new location with adding a new line to the new location for the sink in the kitchen. The existing front door has been blocked and moved to another location where the carport has been enclosed to a room. The house has new windows added through out and on the driveway area has post base anchors in the concrete slab for a future porch. The front porch has been added to the front of the house attached and the Post Tee caps for a 4 x 6 have been spread opened to attached to a 4 x 8 post and not covering all around the post. Some of the plumbing has been added to the bathroom area but at this time it's all covered. Inspector Morales has been in contact with the owner and will be getting the permit. Did do a stop work order on the front windows and the rear of the house. Will do N.O.V. RV. |
