05/06/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TPD OFFICER POPE ON SITE, DID FIND A R/V PARKED IN THE REAR OF THE PROPERTY WHERE A PORCH/SHED ONCE STOOD, IT HAD BEEN DEMO'ED. OCCUPANTS TOLD TPD PREVIOUSLY, AND TOLD ME TODAY THEY WERE ONLY MAKING REPAIRS TO THE R/V, HOWEVER THE R/V WAS HOOKED UP TO POWER. I EXPLAINED TO THE OCCUPANT AT 1701 E GRANT WHO INFORMED ME THE OWNER WAS RICHARD PRESTON, THAT HE COULD HAVE POWER RUNTO THE R/V ONLY FOR HIS TOOLS TO MAKE REPAIRS TO THE R/V BUT COULD NOT HAVE THE R/V HOOKED UP TO THE POWER BECAUSE NOBODY CAN BE LIVING IN THE R/V AS IT NEEDS TO BE SELF CONTAINED, WITHOUT HOOK UPS. OCCUPANT AT 1701 REMOVED THE POWER CORD THAT WAS HOOKED UP TO THE R/V ABATING MY ISSUES. I EXPLAINED THAT THE R/V WAS BEING WATCHED BY NEIGHBORS AND TPD BECAUSE OF ONGOING COMPLAINTS. I ALSO CONTACTED THE OWNER WHO'S UNDERSTANDING WAS HE WAS JUST WORKING ON THE R/V BUT WOULD TAKE ACTION IF THE COMPLAINTS CONTINUE. NO NOV WAS ISSUED, COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE.
