04/16/2019 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT VIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a house fire. Arrived and the units were still in the process of checking for hot spots. Investigators were on site trying to check of cause of the fire but the roof has collapsed and the rear wall has fallen. The fire was towards the rear of the house and the wall in the back fell to the ground. All the windows are broken. All the interior walls have burned. All utilities have been turned off at the meters with no gas to the property. This fire is a total lost. Not able to locate the owner of the property or any responsible party. Boarded the front of the house and fenced the rear of the property due to the wall was blown out and the trusses are not supported what left of the burned trusses. The fire had a fire watch and kept smoking and switched 3- engins until the fire is out. RV.
06/12/2020 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE VIDAL Approved The propety has been sold to a new owner and the new owner is questioning the billing for the property. The oringinal owner has died and this property was sold to this new owner. The fence has since been removed from the property due to calling it in for pick up. The new owner is calling City Hall to protest the billing. At this time the property is vacant and secured and the new owner will be working on removing the damage structure from the property. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
