Did find the water meter on and called inspector Morales to check if the water should be on. The water should of been off and owes 791.64. Did not find the zip tie or the paper that the water was turned off. Did check the electrical meter and the meter has no band and has burning on the panel where it apprears to have had a short when the meter was installed. Did call Tony from T.E.P. and the electrical should be turned off. When T.E.P. showed and the meter was another location. Did call T.P.D. and so did T.E.P. call when on site. Did make contact with the owner and she showed and she also called T.P.D. Did go to the door and rang the door bell and received no awnser. I could hear the people inside and did see people coming and going through the rear of the house. The tenant did come out and we talk and did go over due to lacking the water and the electrical, that the property will be vacated. Did let the tenant know that they could get what they need and come back tomorrow to get the other items out. Went over that the tenant needs to call the owner to let them in and can not come in the house without the owner knowing that they are on the property. Did wait for a while and due to T.P.D. not showing up, called inspector Robert Gonzalez to the site. Once inspector Gonzalez showed, we did go in and had the house vacated. Once the house was vacated, did bring the owner in to check the condition of the house. The house was clean and well organized. Did place screws on the garage door and the owner was changing the locks on the doors. All the windows were locked and did have security bars on the windows. They had only one security bar not able to secure due to opened and not able to re-secure the latch. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. Different people came and took several of the people in the house and took items from the house. The main tenants were on site waiting for some to pick them up and had their items in bags and box placed outside the house. Did have to go to another call and inspector Gonzales stayed with the owner until the locks were changed. RV. |
