Arrived and the units have cleared and did find the west building opened. The bottom doors were opened in several areas and has broken windows allowing entry. Did have people all around the building in several areas and some with back packs. Did check the building with inspector Gonzalez on both floors and found where burning of trash and debris being used for heatin the area and cooking. Did meet with the manager and not able to have the area secured and gave permisson to have the area secured. Did call Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the west building secured and only did the areas that need to be secured to prevent entry into the west building. While waiting for the securement, did have issues with the people getting into the area and some were searching for clothing. Did have them removed and while securing, did have to constantly check for people going into the area. Did have a temporary fence installed around the building that was not being used and found 2-openings where the gate has been opened to allow entry. Those openings in the fencing were locked with a chain and lock and gave a key to the manager. Did do the posting of Do Not Enter on both side of the building at different areas. Did let the manager know that T.P.D. was site and that they called us to the site due to the people going in and out of the area. The manager will call the owner on the issues. They are suppose to start the work on re-doing the building but have no date to start. Did find where the fabric has been cut to enter the fenced area and that was partially sealed with tie wire. The manager will call the fence company that installed the fence to the panel replaced or tied better to prevent the entry into the fenced area. The building at this time the case was secured. RV. |
