01/05/2019	INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT	VIDAL	Approved	Had an incident next door and the gas meter was turned off. The unit was locked and called the owner and the tenant was out of town. The owner sent the maintenance personal and they were able to open the unit due to the gas meter was turned off and the units are on the same gas meter. SWG was called to the site to check the applainces in the unit to have turned back on. The stove was OK and the wall heater was turned off at the gas valve due to not operating properly. The vent stack on the roof is not at the property height. The water heater was lacking the cap and was found on the ground and placed back on and the water heater was left on. The maintenance person signed the paperwork and did the posting of Do Not Enter on the front window. Once SWG was done with the investigation, the property was secured by the maintenance person.
01/11/2019	INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE	VIDAL	Approved	The owner called and the wall furnace has been repaired and working off a thermostat. At this time the all is working and will be closing the case. The tenant will be allowed to return back to the house. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
